Tim,
HAHA,,, well I got the idiot part correct and captain.. just think I've been K>deaking with to man acronyms lately.
When I was in college at the University Of Arkansas At Little Rock
(UALR) almost 40 years ago, when I changed my major/minor from
Music/Math to Radio, Television, Film (RTVF)/Music...I produced and
hosted a 15 minute TV program called "AcroWatch" on the history and use
of acronyms. I wish I still had the script.
I did find the files on a series of weather features I did in college
called "A Weather Wonder". It's a series of weather features, similar to
the original deal that The Weather Channel had aired called "A
Meteorological Minute". With mine, the feature is described as "We
analyze data, forecasts, and text...but, wonder what weather will happen
next". That also explains my ham radio vanity callsign, WX1DER (Weather Wonder). :)
Doing the research for it, and one on hurricanes, were the ONLY two
research papers that I ENJOYED doing. Otherwise, I had the attitude of
the young student, who asked "Why should I study about The American Revolution?? I know who won!!". <G>
