    There's an app that's available on all platforms at this point (I use it on FireTV and Roku) called PlutoTV which very
    much mimics a cable TV
    type format but it's really just a streaming playlist of YouTube clips/movies that's currently free and backed by ads.
    It's one possible entertainment option to those that don't want to pay for cable.

    There's also a website called CyTube where people make, "rooms," where they put on streaming video and whatever part of the
    video id up to is synced between everyone who views the room. It's like TV because they put on a lot of cartoons and stuff
    and it's just like going to a channel where everyone who watches the channel sees the same thing, even if it's in the
    middle.

    Though I prefer options where I can laze back in the bed or on the couch and click around with my remote control. I'm guessing this is just
    computer-based since there's the community aspect?
