I do the Netflix thing here as it has a fairly good selection of stuff to get. This way I can have some kind of selection to watch and not be limited. I am picky about what I like to watch and it is getting harder to find good stuff to watch as the shows I like have been cancelled so they can keep this other crap on that to me is a waste of time to watch.

I know what you mean. There isn't a whole lot on broadcast TV I like to watch regularly anymore, so there isn't much I'd want to record on a DVR these days.. Probably the last show on broadcast TV I watched regularly was The Office, and that show ended a few years ago. These days, sometimes I like to watch the news and sometimes a game show, but otherwise I've been streaming from Netflix and Amazon Prime, and occasionally renting from RedBox.

That reminds me, I heard there's a new Star Trek TV show which should start next year, but it will be on CBS All Access, which costs about $6/month. I'm not sure I want to pay another monthly fee for an additional streaming service for one show, but I suppose it won't break the bank.. But people say BitTorrent would take care of that issue, I suppose. I'm not sure why they aren't broadcasting it on over-the-air TV though.. Not enough people into Star Trek anymore? Or maybe sci-fi in general? I haven't heard of many sci-fi shows on TV these days.
