    Allen,

    So you're saying... you're in trouble? :-) J/K, couldn't help myself.

When preparing for a colonoscopy, I could very well be. :P

They've found polyps 3 times, but no cancer...and I don't have to go AP>-> through that again until 2018. The prep work is literally a PITA.

Whomever named that stuff in the gallong jug "Go Lightly" should be AP>shot... you go every way but LIGHTLY.

That stuff is NASTY!! It was like drinking tepid salt water. :P

They apparently have "flavor packets now", but that doesn't make it
any easier. The "Go Lightly" was to "clear out your colon", plus "light
it up" for them to see during the colonoscopy.

Jeff Foxworthy and Bill Engvall have 2 hilarious videos on YouTube,
telling of their experiences with that. :P

Beer and Jello for 2 days, then save a good book for the day before prep. :

Beer may be a great diuretic, but I prefer ginger ale and lemon
popsicles for the prep for 3 days out.

Then, at 4pm the day before the procedure, it's 4 Ducolax, and a
bottle of CHILLED citrate of magnesia (the CLEAR one). My late wife
called it "Sprite with a kick", as it's real tart. It took around 20
minutes to kick in. Then, at 11pm that evening, 1 more Ducolax, and then
an enema in the morning. That always did the trick for me.

Too bad I couldn't use the gas afterwards in my car...or as comedian
Bill Engvall noted, "These aren't little Jimmy squeezed out a toot
farts. These are more like a bullfrog getting run over by a Mack Truck".
