setup the nodes fine, and the messages and then was able to set the qwk syncs. tested creating sub accounts as potential users.
one account my password did not work, so i deleted the account. well, now no one can create an account !!

GAH!! do i need to start over? or is ther a config file i can edit or delete?

right now i only have access.

anyone else will go through the registration. then once complete will be directed to the message the sysop for more access rights. but then it says deleted message. I dont know how to fix
    this.

This is the wrong message area for Synchronet support questions. See http://wiki.synchro.net/howto:support

To answer your question: you need to either
    A. Fix your default/external editor configuration, or
    B. Disable the new-user feedback requirement: http://wiki.synchro.net/faq:misc#new_user_feedback
