:) well you're close. My first name is Gaylen and I do remember your name as
well but it's been quite awhile. :)

Then you probably remember some of my users... Frank Earnest (he was neither Frank nor Earnest LOL) and Richard Meadows (H'es
still alive and around here somewhere).

I am going to try to get some of the old users back together. Carolyn (Medea) is still around as well but in Texas not
    Louisville.

Seems to me I remember Richard in the echos but I'm afraid that Frank
draws a blank. What I remember you from is back in the glory BBS days
when I ran JustaXnet and it seems to me you were a node back then right?

Cool. I hope it all works out for you!

I was a node on practacally everything back then... I was fortunate and back in the day I had a massive amount of hard drive space nearly 1/2 a GB... which in the 1990's was pretty large. I carried almost every net out there... I also had 12 CDRoms online at any given time.

We were pretty thumping back then. 10 nodes and they were constantly in use.

I remember someone named Richard posting messages on The Volunteer BBS
in Louisville, Kentucky, it ran on the GT POWER BBS Network.

I can't remember reading anything from Frank Ernest though.

    I was using a C=64 with a 300 baud VIC-MODEM in 1984 and wanted to know
what the people who were using IBM Compatible PC's were talking about so
I could learn about this Computer stuff.

    I had a 486DX-33 built in 1994.

I remember You posting a List of BBS's in the Louisville, Kentucky area
    on The Volunteer BBS. Thanks.

I looked at several of the BBS's in the List, but can't remember if I
ever Logged On to Your BBS, The Derby City BBS.

I learned about The Volunteer BBS from a list in a Free local magazine
that I picked up at a Store, The BBS I used up until then was
    The Commodore BBS.

When I find a ROUNDTUIT I will take a look at The Derby City BBS.

Cool, and back then seems like all the nets were pretty active with a lot
of different people. Now days seems like just us old timers and occasionally you might see a fresh face.

which in the 1990's was pretty large. I carried almost every net out there... I also had 12 CDRoms online at any given time.

:) Ya got me beat... I had a 7 disc changer and had 7 shareware CDs online
and would switch them up every so often. Of course back then the bbs was
where most people got their file fix. :)

We were pretty thumping back then. 10 nodes and they were constantly in
    use.

hehehehe, not quite that busy up here in South Ice but it was fun back then.
