    Robert,

    --- MultiMail/XT v0.49

Looks like I will have to my my 0.50 binary for this available on my BBS :)

For whatever reason, MultiMail kept locking up on me, so I had to go
to OLX. The main advantage with MultiMail, is it allows for longer
taglines. OLX is a bit limited on tagline length. But, it's better than
    no QWK Mail at all.

I registered it years ago...I think I originally was using SLMR. Unfortunately, I don't know if any shareware copies exist, or if it can
    be registered.

The only thing I don't like about it is "shorter taglines", when
compared to Multi-Mail. But, I have to make do, because for whatever
reason, MultiMail kept crashing over here.

    Rob,

Note that PKZIP/PKUNZIP v2.50 uses a completely different command-line synta DM>from v2.04g. Both should work just fine with "FTN packets" (actually, bundle

I was having problems with 2.50 and the FTN packets. So, I went back
to 2.04g, which works just fine.

Is it not possible that your problem was actually with the command-line parameters (i.e. did not make the necessary changes when upgrading from v2.04 to 2.50)?

And just FYI, FTN packets are not zip files. FTN *bundles* may be zip files, but packets are just packets.
