i probably have thrown out 50 of them in my lifetime.

i prefer keyboards with multimedia keys.
i'm not a snob about how a keyboard feels and i probably type faster than most people here.

i have a bunch of keyboards i got from work and when they get gunked up i toss it and put in a identical replacement.

I was doing desktop support at HDS about 20 years ago. I was working on this one 486 WFW desktop PC at this guys' cubicle (prolly installing lotus

After listening to it for several minutes, I had to find the crickets and frogs. Turned out to be a screen saver. Screen savers were new back then
and I wasn't used to them like I am now.

I suppose that one isn't as bad as the others. Maybe because the only times I've heard people do that is only briefly. The other ones seem to be more ongoing. I've heard people continually crunch ice, pop gum, etc. all day long. What I find maybe a bit more surprising is when nobody says anything about it. Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who finds things like that annoying.

I work with a lot of people from different cultures. Apparently restroom behavior can vary widely from what we in the U.S. consider "normal" or "sanitary". For example, in some cultures, it's normal, even in public/shared restrooms, to clean yourself after a BM using cups of water rather than any kind of paper product. So when you feel water splashing on your feet from the stall next to you, that you're cue to leave, if you can. And apparently it's acceptable to blow your nose into the wash basin (sink) in some cultures. Ugh.

And this behavior happens in the bathrooms of fortune 500 companies. <shrug>

There's definitely a wide variety of things accepted in different cultures.. And regarding cleanliness, I've noticed people leaving the bathrooms at work without washing their hands. And it seems that it's not just a cultural thing, as I've seen all types of people do that. I'd think everyone would learn basic sanitary practices when they're growing up, but I guess not (or maybe some people just don't care).

Here you go... (this model adds windows keys to the original spacing), they have 101 key too..

WOW! Not having the windows key was one reason I quit using the PS/2 ones I have years ago...I use Win+E and Win+R a lot out of habit..that, and my wife was not having the clicking late at night after we were married...This, though, is cool...not sure I'd pay that much, but still, cool!

I recently read that many schools aren't even teaching typing anymore.
I guess many people wouldn't find it useful, since many people often

The teacher had everything well planned... it was American history and she left an outline of what should have been covered.
The kids were just unbelievable, manipulative and one of them even used these words, "Ms. xxx isn't here today so this is how
things are going to roll." Trust me, they didn't. We got through the lesson plan and high school, inner city kids are not
easy to teach... all I saw was my future inmates... and sadly 4 years later guess what classroom they were sitting in. And
it's amazing how motovated they are when they get a 25% sentence / bail / fine reduction for getting thier GED so if they were
in for 1 year... 1 year becomes 8 months with good behavior... and 8 months become 6 if they get their GED... they really were
