I don't know how many people have seen this very cool game, but I was able to grab the source off of GitHub and it runs well through Synchronet Web Server (even on my old P4, Single Core, XP machine).

Game saves are done by exporting/importing a text save file. It is a rather addictive game. There is also an official iOS version on the Apple Store, and apparently an official Android version in development.

Wow, I like this game. You're right, not too complicated. Cool save system. Kind of a walking simulator until you get into it and start having to make small choices. It's a good time killer.
