Man I tell you, if one more person goes all ghetto on me and "ax"'s me a question, I'll scream. The one and only proper way to pronounce ask, is as-k.

The next person to ask me "Where is you goin'?" Is going to get slapped along side the brain box...

Stupid bad English is like fingers being scratched along a blackboard, i tell you.

I swear I will fire back by going all yoo-per on them! Yah der hay!

Why do some people say AX, when the proper way to say it is AS-K? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jHZwOqLrF2M

Sorry, I just had to vent that...

It sounds to me as if you reference ebonics. While I disagree with the bastardization of language in general, I can certainly understand certain repressed cultures wanting to have their own definitive characteristics in language. Especially after all of the crap that they put up with from 'the man'. :P
It has irritated me in the past a lot, too; I guess I came to see it in a different light after I dealt with it a lot in the military, though.
