    RaVeN;

For my own personal edification, I looked around in the ebooks section
    of your downloads area.

The first thing I noticed is that you have binary (*.exe) files in your
    ebooks area.
Initially strange to me, so I downloaded all of them. (All .exe files.)

Due to my own paranoia, I ran a virus scan on said downloaded files.

    Below are the results: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ someuser@debian-desktop:/f-prot$ ./fpscan ~/Downloads/

    Hi Khelair,

    Thanks for the message,
The area had a power outage yesterday evening and while the BBS is on a UPS that will keep it alive for 8 hours, the main exchange drops the internet connections to save power.

All is well but thanks for letting me know !!

    Hi Gandolf,

    Thanks for your message...

I have checked ALL files on my system and they are ALL clean.
Im currently running Kaspersky & Malwarebytes both up-to-date
Strange how something was found on your system ?

Since your message i have done a total system scan and again found nothing all clean.

I know when i have had problems using AVG in the past, When i went from AVG to Kaspersky there were a few found that AVG did not.

Thanks again for the heads up

FIX IT, OR TEAR IT DOWN.

I'm not trying to be a hard-nose here, but a public facing board with a

A wise user isn't going to judge all boards based on their experience at only one board.. That's like saying someone who doesn't eat out very often visits a restaurant and has a bad experience, and then never visits any other restaurants again because of that bad experience.. or a new driver buys a car and ends up buying a lemon, and then never buys a car again because of that one experience.. If someone is really interested in something, they'll try again somewhere else.

i think you're thinking about how YOU think and not how everyone else thinks. think about grabbing someone at random and showing them your bbs or anybody elses.

what do they say? if they see what they consider boring, would they continue looking?
