of your downloads area.
The first thing I noticed is that you have binary (*.exe) files in your ebooks area.

Initially strange to me, so I downloaded all of them. (All .exe files.)
Due to my own paranoia, I ran a virus scan on said downloaded files.
Below are the results: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ someuser@debian-desktop:/f-prot$ ./fpscan ~/Downloads/

i'm just saying this might be the reason why no matter what he did he kept getting infected again.

Hi Gandolf,
Thanks for your message...
I have checked ALL files on my system and they are ALL clean.
Im currently running Kaspersky & Malwarebytes both up-to-date
Strange how something was found on your system ?
Since your message i have done a total system scan and again found nothing all
clean.
I know when i have had problems using AVG in the past, When i went from AVG to
Kaspersky there were a few found that AVG did not.
Thanks again for the heads up

Follup on your board:
Dude -- I can functionally connect to your board via FTP, but cannot download any content.
FIX IT, OR TEAR IT DOWN.
I'm not trying to be a hard-nose here, but a public facing board with a virus infected / corrupt file system is really embarrassing to the rest
of the SysOps who work their a$$es off to provide a quality product.

It might be embarrassing to him, but how is it embarrassing to other
sysops? Why are you so concerned about that?

think a bit about this.
jimbo has never been on a bbs before.
he has a shitty bbs experience.
jimbo never calls a bbs again cause internet is better.
there ya go.

A wise user isn't going to judge all boards based on their experience at only one board.. That's like saying someone who doesn't eat out very often visits a restaurant and has a bad experience, and then never visits any
If someone is really interested in
something, they'll try again somewhere else.
what do they say? if they see what they consider boring, would they continue looking?
