• Back to BBS'ing..

From Arcade Master@VERT/THEARCAD to All on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 16:56:00
Well everyone. I have finally made a comback and I am happy to see that the BBS world has not gone away. I am in the process of setting up a BBS again,
in which I took the original The Arcade down in 1997, after 8 years up and running. I ran a variety of bbs softwares, WWIV being what I started out
with and eventually ended with my bbs days. I have looked at and setup Synchronet, in which I am fairly happy with at this point in the game.

However, I am still partial to WWIV, mostly for the nostalgic of the dial up era <lol>. I have been looking around and I am very suprised of all the BBS'es, some of which I used to call very often, that have made the
    transition to the internet.

I am very happy to be back online and interested to see if anyone from my old days is still around..

    Good to have you back!

BTW, still running WWIV over here. We also have WWIVnet back up with around 10
systems and growing in it right now. Rushfan is actively programming new code in WWIV.

I'm still running the old modded 4.24a version over here.
