he says he is) is an accomplishment. Some more positive encouragement would

actually, my cat installed synchronet the other day and all he did was walk on the keyboard and run the setup.exe

He did it out of sadness, and the world has lost something because of him, but if you take your net negative influence out of the world, it will _gain_ something. You could be a legend, bro!

_THIS_ - there are a LOT of stock boards where basically the operator runs setup.exe, opens a
port on their firewall and registers for a Dyndns address.

I hang around in places where there's a lot of trolling, so I thought this post was a pisstake on
the whole Synchronet community.

Look, I'm actually genuinely sorry if I hurt the feelings of a real 13 year old sysop - more
power to him.

I am also going to apologize to him in person, I'm just used to a far harsher environment full of
trolls - didn't mean to be one.
