I went ahead and did a capture of several messages that showed the extra
lines within the text, as seen by my message reader on my BBS. I created an album of about 10 screenshots. Let me know if you can't get to the album, as
I can't seem to copy/paste the url when using syncterm in linux. So I had to imbed it manually.

i think it is something in mystic's wrapping... i just saw a message of mine written from my main system using timed and reading it on your system had all kinds of blank lines inserted in the paragraphs... it doesn't show like that
on my main system nor several of the others i have read my post on but it
does on the mystic systems... i'm not sure if there's a right margin setting
    or what but anyway...

It must be something specific to the QWKnet bases tho, since I don't see this happening in the FTN bases on Fidonet or Agoranet.

i'm pretty sure this is a mystic issue. i think we've talked about it at length on zeronet.

No need, though thanks for the time you put into it. I think it's specific to Mystic and may be an editor bug.

    Regards,

I have noticed the same thing on my Synchronet BBS. I just use the arrow up and the cursor often goes to the end of the previous line and al works out OK.

i don't think QWK is involved, either... i don't do QWK stuff and the post of mine that i saw with extra blank lines in the middle of the paragraphs i
viewed here on your board... i'll have to try to find it again and then see
of that area is carried on the mystics running over here... if it is, i'll
look and see if those lines are there, too...

Fair enough. I have a jam2txt extractor and I pulled those individual
messages and dumped them to a text file. The formatting looks to be correct. So that leaves.

I also viewed the messages in both full screen mode and regular mode, and the formatting is the same for both. So that tells me that the issue is with the way Mystic displays the text.
