Please. I want to get lots of people on one single active BBS for the most fun ever. I'm only 14 and from the UK but I feel as if this old tech will prove to be a great resource in coming time.

Often times the local boards are few in number and not that active, but Dovenet, and Fidonet are usually quite active. They link multiple BBSs together, which is nice because BBSs do occasionally go down and this way you can simply logon to another system and see many of the same boards/echos.

I don't mean to be a foe or anything, but is there a chance that that's a custom written telnetd script to just dump out the text of the theme song from the fresh prince of bel air? Because if it's not, I really need to write that.
