I just noticed on my BBS that a group of old messages seem to have been posted on Dove-Net in various boards. For instance, in Dove-Net General, there's one message dated December 7 from physalis17 to Poindexter Fortran with the subject "Re: CLI vs GUI", and then the next message I see on my
BBS is dated November 9 (from me to Khelair with the subject "PacNW Passive-Aggressiveness").
Several of the Mystic nodes on DOVE-Net have been spewing dupes back into the network. These appear to be in large corrupted REP packets as well, so they're not being caught by normal duplicate message checking schemes.
The recent dupe-spewing nodes are ISIS, RDFIG, and FLUPH.
I'm removing posting privileges from these nodes when I see the dupes and will not restore them until the sysops can assure me that they've root-caused and resolved the issue.
