  • Anyone have the Ambroshia Quest Assistant (GUI)?

    Hello there folks,

    I was wondering if anyone had the Oddware Ambroshia Quest Assistant 1.0.6. It was a GUI quest creator for the game Ambroshia, written by Chachi of Oddware. It appears that Oddware is no more, as well as any of the available downloads for Ambroshia. I managed to hunt down a bunch of old files that were
    originally from Oddware, however, this Quest Assistant was unfortunately not part of those files. I was just curious if anyone out there had a copy, as I can't seem to find it anywhere.

    Hey, just dredging this back up. I got a chance to chat with Eli, he pointed
    me towards all of the old stuff he had from oddware. Unfortunately the GUI Quest Assistant was not among the files. Though, Eli was a really cool person to chat with.

    So, if anyone happens to run across this software I'd love to grab a copy of it.

    pointed me towards all of the old stuff he had from oddware. Unfortunately the GUI Quest Assistant was not among the files. Though, Eli was a really cool person to chat with.

    So, if anyone happens to run across this software I'd love to grab a copy
    of it.

    Thanks for the offer, but unfortunately I have no idea what the file name
    would be. The most I can find is the link to the directory on oddnet that it used to be in. Which isn't all that helpful. http://home.comcast.net/~delaware-1/Quests.htm

    Just wanted to throw it the question out there again, just in case someone happens to see this message and says, "Hey I have that." Long shot at best ;-)

    pcmike aka mike ehlert might have a backup of some of those files since
    the ambroshia author hosted his files with thebbs.org in the past.

    why dont you get in touch with him and ask him.
    he's on some bbs facebook groups.

    if it didnt survive on a bbs or online, it was probably not worth using.
    i never heard of anybody using it.

    That makes a lot of sense. I heard the standard quest builder was easy to use. -KenDB3
