The Entertainment area would have been a more appropriate area for this post.

I haven't kept up with new movies as well as I used to, so often I'm not aware of what's coming out soon. However, a couple movies that came out recently that I want to see are Robocop and the Lego Movie.

I usually see it advertised on TV and think that looks cool and then
forget about it until I watch it on Netflix. :P

Although last movie I saw in the theater was Insidious 2. (He's got
your baby, by the way) That was pretty good for a sequel.

    Hi there!

Yes, there are a few movies I've been looking forward to for a little while now.

Jupiter Ascending had an interesting plot and (for me atleast) came out of nowhere.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For looks interesting aswell. Loved the first one, and can't see why this one won't be good.

Guardians of the Galaxy also looks promising, and since I do like my superhero-movies, I'll probably enjoy it aswell :)

And before you ask; Yes, sci-fi is a genre I enjoy :)

I went to the movies yesterday. I saw The Grand Budapest Hotel by Wes Anderson. I am a big fan of Wes's films, and this one didn't disappoint.
It's quirky, and has some laughs. I would wholly recommend it.

When I went to the movies over the weekend, the big ticket item seemed to be "God isn't Dead". There was a line outside the theater for that one. But I heard from the ticket-takers that Captain America was the big draw. Maybe I came in at just the right time to see the line for the other one tho.

I just read up on that. I'm astounded no one's produced a movie yet... it
does seem like it would make a rather dramatic movie. Amazing how they could not readily identify the ship before attacking.

Saw Capn'2 last Sunday, first time seeing Guardian's of the Galaxy trailer on the big screen, that movie should be amazing.

Huge Marvel nerd, Capn'2 was great, all the fight scenes were very visceral. Someone told me they did most of them san's CG, but I seriously doubt that given how he was flinging his shield everywhere like a boss.

Great movie though, Capt'3 is coming out next year the week after Avengers 2. I'm waiting for Marvel to fuck one of these movies up, but so far I've been thankfully disappointed.

Other trailers I saw were stuff like How to train your dragon 2, ninja turtles (sigh), Edge of Tomorrow, Maleficent, Spiderman2, Jupiter Ascending, etc.

Lots of good flicks this summer I think, next summer even more.

There wasn't anything to clarify. The reply was directed at me like I didn't know what I was doing or what I was talking about. That was obviously wrong, and I let the poster know that.

    But thanks for your attitude.

No problemo. I didn't start the thread. The person that 'clarified' my post should have replied to the original poster that mentioned it shouldn't be discussed in this area, not me. I was simply replying to the original poster in
kind, while messing with him all in good fun, and mentioning a feature we worked on that would easily have moved the conversation (if he wanted to) in the editor he currently develops.

It's not illegal to store a backup of the DVD. It's just illegal to circumvent DVD encryption to do so. Either way, they got you.

I just check it for the Netherlands, we may copy for ourself but we are not allowed to circumvent any protection. The good thing is, on internet the already ripped versions are available, I don't have to use decryption software so I'm ok :)

Haha. Well it sounds like the Netherlands is a little more lenient. I flew through Amsterdam in the 90's, but I didn't get to visit, as it was just a layover to Oslo. I did enjoy my flight with KLM. A very pleasant flight, indeed.
