Just seen two movies today, one in the morning named We Are
Marshal.
I know that it is not a new release kind of film. I just haven't seen it So after watching the movie on DVD i was very moved to the story. It is based on true events and is a football movie. College to be exact. Where in the beginning they show the plane crash or the aftermath of it. They didn't show the entire event of the plane going down. Though it appeared to be weather related. It killed the Marshal college football team and destroyed a close college football town back in the 70's. Where families lost loved ones, and a state lost their college football team to a horrible accident. After that, they had the actor Matthew Maconahay and another actor who is well known as Jack the doctor from the tv series LOST. As new acting head coach and assistant head coach of a all freshman college team reborn of Marshal University. I won't go into full detail. Lets just say that the team itself didn't win many games. Except it really captured your emotions to the lows
and then to the highs. Not to mention the respect for those that have fallen with their lives taken away from a horrible event. This movie was a movie i wanted to see, and i am glad to have seen it though it has been quite a few years after it was released on DVD. If anyone else saw this movie, please share your thoughts .. thanks....
