If the company is now defunct, is there anyone still selling the licenses? I'd like to run this legitimately if possible.

Either way, look into doing inter-BBS tw2k2 or you're the 100th board
running 'dedicated tradewars'. I don't mean it the way it sounds, I've
just 'called' alot of them recently. I approached the registration crack
for all the door games the way you are. Then I learned a new word...

Abandonware!

The SynchroNet team is also in development on a version of Tradewars right now? I dont know if its javascript or free or will be....?

sync's trade wars is just a javascript port of Trade Wars II a very old version. if it was modern the owner of Trade Wars would scream.
John Pritchett paid a load of bucks for Trade Wars.
