• Trade Wars Game Server -- Still available or supported?

    From Sam Alexander@VERT to DOVE-Net.Entertainment on Friday, February 29, 2008 10:56:47
    Hi,

I've been thinking of purchasing TWGS to run at home for me plus a few
friends and anyone else interested. I don't have much time to set a board back up, but running a dedicated TWGS would be fun.

I checked out their website - http://www.eisonline.com/ - but from what I'm seeing the site hasn't been updated since 2002. Does anyone know if TWGS is still available through them? Their forum link is 404 and I've sent a few emails with no answer.

If the company is now defunct, is there anyone still selling the licenses?
I'd like to run this legitimately if possible.

    Thanks --

    Sam Alex

the game owner is around somewhere, he had a falling out with the web site people and parted ways, so I heard. a full license is around 80.00 last check.

    Hi Corey,

Do you or does anyone else have his contact info? I'd enjoy making contact
so I can get a license.

I know this is a little old but i should respond :) Tradewars is still alive and kicking. JP still sends out reg codes as far as i know, but as someone mentioned, there are a TON of servers out there already with small populations. You are welcome to have you and your friends jump on my board and play.
If you are still interested in hosting your own, the forums are back up and you can get all the info you need there.
