I am shocked that again sci fi shows are targeted for cancellation.
especially shows that i enjoy watching. the event had a rough start, but, i think the season finale of the show was pretty cool. as for caprica it seemed like a interesting take on how the cyclons became defiant against the humans. it sure is the a shame that show is being cancelled. the one show that i never thought be cancelled since i love
it so much is stargate universe. they have a great cast of characters, and we hardly have anything close to star trek with a ship exploring
space and stuff. i sure hope that stargate universe isn't cancelled.

I like the conflict between the characters. Unfortunately, they have already been screwing around with timetravel episodes. I dont really
see the point of them when they have the entire ship to explore or more
    star systems.

well according to a websight that i can download episodes of the tv show stargate universe. that there hasn't been any activity to prove that a third season was done, nor, that the show has return on the sci fi channel. again i still stand where i stand to why they target sci fi tv
shows, where they have a good run but are still slated to be cancelled off the channels they are on.

on a side note that hollywood is still experimenting with aliens and strange things like for instance the movie THE DARKEST HOUR.
turned out to be a good take on a sci fi action like movie. i only question that it was good enough to win any awards. when award season comes around. also the movie itself kind of ended where the war just begun with the human
and alien race where it all started in russia and now is spreaded through out the planet.
they also shown an ending where it very well might not be a sequeal depending on the amount of money the movie raked in.

well as i respond to this message that stargate universe has been off the air for years now. i still stand behind my reasoning that sci fi shows are being targeted especially if they don't do well in the ratings.
thank god we are getting close to another star trek movie with young kirk and the rest of them on another adventure.

I think I know now why it is. I read somewhere that Nielson (sp?), for whatever reason, is still seriously focused on the traditional TV cable markets...I guess they get feedback from TV set top boxes or something. More than likely your usual scifi freak is using satellite, internet, and so on. So, basically, broadcasters have no real real-world data to rely on, and on paper the shows are most likely performing way worse than they really are.

Nielson is supposedly "working on it". Seems to me the answer is simple: collate data from web forums, phone polling, and heck, even throw in some teens standing around in malls talking to people.

My friends rat stared on one of the recent shows.
Kurt. he played a rat. they put makeup on him to make him look wild.
only thing was, he was too friemdly, and everyone played with him off camera. so when his scene came up, and they yelled action, he ran toward the zombies instead of away from them. so he had to do his scene in a cage. poor kurt. showbiz is tough for rats.
