If you were stuck on a desert island, which movie(s) and/or
music would you have with you?

That would depend on the circumstances of my arrival on the
island. If it was a plain-crash in the ocean, I doubt that
any of my stuff would wash up on the shore anyway. If it was
via a shipwreck, the remants of any of my stuff would be
dubious too. Besides, I don't think I would have planned to
take just the best of my movies or music with me on that fatal
trip. Any electronics gear would probably get destroyed by the
water.
So, the answer, to my dismay, would be: probably none. :(
I would probably just have: my life, and the remaining clothes
on my back.

Being honest, probably Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. It's one of the few movies I've seen that I /really/ enjoyed. Not sure about music, that'd kinda depend on the circumstances.

That was a true story too.

none... there's no power on a deserted island...

Never heard of solar panels? I did 2 camping trips in 2012, where I had more than enough power to charge not only my devices, but everyone else's, as well as play ham radio, all from solar. :)

There's lots of power in that sun out there...

When I hear "deserted island," my assumption is that I did not make it there on purpose but probably as the result of some catastrophe in the
air or at sea. So, the likelihood that I packed my favorite movies, music, or solar panels, and that they made it ashore with me, seems
slim. :)
Now, if I was going on purpose, I might very well take several things
with me. Still, though, I doubt I would take music or movies as those things would run down my power. I would probably take books, with
require no power (during the day anyway) and necessities.
So I am back to if I am on a deserted island, it is probably not by choice.

If your scenario involves solar panels, then mine involves a deserted research
station on the island powered by maintenance free geothermal power.

Haha solar panels can be transported on a ship or
helicopter, and can be deployed in seconds. I doubt your
solution could fit either criteria. :)

hahah. If a helicopter came along, I'd probably like to get
on that helicopter to get OFF the island.
In retrospect, the original question said nothing about HOW we
would get on that island. I assumed that I would end up there
by some fatality of air or sea. But it could be entirely a
purposeful plan to be there. In that case, maybe the island
has certain resources (geothermal, wind, remains from
shipwrecks) that could be utilized to build something if the
desire to remain on the island. So, then yes.. it could be
nice to have some fav tunes or movies to re-enjoy.
