I am not on Netflix, and I don't really follow series.

I got a bunch of DVDs of Fury (The story of a horse and the boy who loved him), The Adventures of Jim Bowie and The Adventures of Kit Carson.

I think the last series I actually followed were My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Oh boy, literally everything. I've been in my house practically 24/7
with all these lockdowns and curfews, so starting to get to the end of
Netflix and in to all the Chinese and Korean series :D

    - The Other Side (Spain)
    - Oloture (Nigeria)
    - Discovery (obviously)
    - Sweet Home (just released / S. Korea)

The only problem with Netflix outside of the US (and same for Prime
really) is that it's pretty empty, Canal+ owns most of the rights to
everything in France so all you get on the streaming services is just a
load of cobbled together crap, that takes time to find the gems.

And there are a lot of good series coming out of Asia, but you just have
to find them since they don't tend to show up as popular content
    according to the algorythms.

You can use a VPN for that, but I don't think they really want you to do that.. In some cases, I think it might be technically against their terms of service, or perhaps even illegal (though I'm not sure, so don't quote me on that).

I live in the US, but I've thought about using a VPN for viewing content on Amazon Prime or Netflix from other countries though..

I assume he's talking about "Cuties" about which the filmmaker said "Our girls see that the more a woman is overly sexualised on social media, the more she's successful. And the children just imitate what they see, trying to achieve the same result without understanding the meaning, and yeah, it's dangerous." She says that although watching the film may be difficult, it is important to have a conversation in society about these issues. (from Wikipedia)

Because the film is about adolescent girls caught up in trying to mimic sexualization from the media, it was immediately accused of promoting pedophilia.

Me too. I can stop a film at any point and feel perfectly fine to pick up where I left off days later. Except for Breaking Bad and Osark, the urgency and suspense to finish a story is seldom encountered lately.

    * SLMR 2.1a * Oooo, Better run, Mr. Wino!!!

"idp" is "i2p" with a typo. Shame on me.

i2p is an anonymous network / darknet. It is created by a mass of nodes ran by its users. Traffic is encrypted in such a way that it is very difficult to track who is doing what within the network.

Torrenting seems to be the most popular activity within the network by a laaaarge margin. Being an intra-darknet, you can only access services available within the network, so the i2p torrents are actually torrents available within i2p only for the most part.

    Isn't it cool?
