I don't know if anyone was following the MST3K kickstarter. On Friday Joel held a telethon and had guests come on and entertain, tell stories, and generally just hang out. During the telethon they hit a combined total (kickstarter add-on shop) of >$6.3Million and will be making 14 episodes.

Not bad for a show that started in 1988 and cancelled in 1999.
