So who do you think is the greatest Rock Band EVER!
I vote goes to Led Zepplin.
If I leave out the main stream for a bit one of my favorites bands is Saga. A Canadian band that is mostly uknown here but they have always been a big draw in Europe. Their live albums and DVDs are always from shows in Europe.
They rock hard for a trio.
Powerful prog-rock. Their lead singer was one
of the few people who could cover Freddie Mercury decently -- he sang a couple of numbers with the rest of Queen and held his own.
But there are five of them. :)
He left the band for four or five years (he needed time off) and I am glad he is back.. :) Rob Moratti did a great job on "The Human Condition", the title track from that album is a stand out.
All those in favor?
Maybe 20 years ago I would have agreed, but now, Led Zeppelin has been overplayed too much.
That sort of depends on which songs you listen to. They have some lesser played songs that are just as good, or better than the hits that get played over & over & over ... (Stairway to Heaven comes to mind)

Unrelated question: Did you ever accept bribes from drivers for business?
Just wondering, because I have driven cab plenty, and I always felt like the suck ups were doing more than sucking up at times, and I have had some 12 hour shifts where I made $10 for the day.
same amount regardless of how much they made, so I had no reason to
favor them. And the second reason was that we rarely asked customers
were they were going, so I really had no way of knowing which calls were the 'good' ones.

Same here, we as drivers asked the customers where to. I guess all drivers get that feeling at times, especially after a long night with no pay.

The 2 cops are facing prison sentences, but I support them 100% and thi they should be rewarded for what they did, whether it be the key to the city, or free food from Twisters. If I ever see them, I WILL treat them with respect.
Silly question: Do you think the cops knew at the time that the homeless guy they were shooting at

She had 1 or 2 songs that were good. the rest were noise. She probably gave some of the record execs some of that free love that everyone was talking about back in the 60's. Probably without it, we'd have never heard of her.

Stuff like that, I understand, and this is also why I don't miss the cab business. It's a shame that people have to drive cab in the first place; nobody else would hire me at the time, for regular work, so I resorted to th lowest budget cab company in the city, and on slow nights (or days) I'd be parking at the greyhound station like a fisherman with only a hook, because some of these cars didn't even have "TAXI" printed on them anywhere. It was really hopeless.
Are you still driving? How long did you do it for?
To answer your questions in order, no, I don't still drive a cab. I

Sorry to hear about the heart attack! I hope you're taking good care of yourself.
If I still lived in Binghamton NY, I'd still enjoy driving cab, but I can't do it here in Albuquerque, I'm just too scared!
What part of WV were you living in? I lived in Hedgesville for a while.
I hope you were in a good mood the day you dealt with those car dealers. I think car dealers are more despicable than any drug dealers. I can't handle them! They get me way too angry.
