Really good to see you two guys doing something like this. Long overdue! Tarballs, Rasberry pie,,,
Way over my head but made me laugh!
Would love to hear a Synchronet tip of the
week in every episode or something similiar to that.

I'm pretty sure we're trying to avoid a Synchronet-centric podcast though. DigitalMan is the marketing genius behind it so he'll be the best one to answer. ;-)

Sounds like a good idea. I'll have to think of some Synchronet tips first. :

Oh, ok. I wasn't aware of that. Maybe just a block/segment then ? Maybe even add a Dovenet conference for submitting questions. Skies the limit, guys!
I listened to it last night and enjoyed it. As a software engineer myself, I thought the topic of software developer/engineer interviews was interesting. It definitely seems that there are a lot of software job applicants out there who know mostly the basics or don't seem to have a great grasp on it. On the flip side, it's very easy to be nervous during
an interview, as the person being interviewed is put on the spot and has to think on their feet to come up with answers to the questions. I've found
i'm never nervous during job interviews. you really have nothing to lose and everything to gain, so just have a good time if it's possible.
basically work in manufacturing but i make good money. that being said, i'm lucky to be working in today's day and age.
It seems like their podcast is aimed at a more general audience. Many of th people who would listen to it might not be into BBSing - but I think it coul be interesting to hear a tidbit about it once in a while.
That's true. Generally I try to do that. I feel like there's still always the feeling of being on the spot, but overall I agree, and it's good to
just try to be prepared and try to have a good time with it.
While we're at it, let's ask Rob to start the show next week with a drum solo! Duece, do you sing ? ;)

I don't often sing while sober.
Here's an officially unofficial mirror of the TechDorks podcast:

If you find that episodes download slowly from the official site, you might get better speeds here. Or not. I don't know.
New episodes will be added automatically, so I won't have to mess around with updating anything manually.
