Anyone else watching this new show (on USA network)?

I was amazed at the technical accuracy of the first 15 minutes of the first episode but things have gone a bit down hill (technically speaking) since then.
I do like that they use terms and acronyms without feeling the need to explain them (e.g. "AFK" and "IRC"), but the concept that an employee at a cyber-security firm would need a "root kit" explained to them is an absurdity.

The show is still very entertaining and I suspect it will do very well.

Just added to my newsfeed, can't wait to see it.

need to explain them (e.g. "AFK" and "IRC"), but the concept that an employee at a cyber-security firm would need a "root kit" explained to them is an absurdity.

    Love it, hilarious.

Someone described a drinking game where when watching one of those crime/tech shows and they describe their job in detail to someone who knows the job, you drink.

2nd and 3rd episodes of season 1 or 2? Because there's a second season... So far...

Wired seems to think as of June that "it's actually good now" (http://www.wired.com/2015/06/watch-halt-catch-fire-now/), there's also strong suspicion from a bunch of other sites that season 3 is gonna happen.

I started with season 2, loved it and went back to season 1, so maybe skip the rest of s1?

I think we were talking about the TV show Mr. Robot. I heard that the second season has already been picked up (though not actually filmed yet), and only 3 episodes of the first season have been aired.
