So, Destiny, that just released for the PS4 and XBox One on the 9th, is pretty freaking awesome, and basically the first decent MMO-style tactical 1st person game that's actually fun and different.

Anyone else out there on PS4 with it yet? I only know one other person personally that has a PS4, so I don't have many friends on PSN network yet for PS4 games.

I played around with the Beta and I'm PSN, but I dont have any games
other than the free ones I downloaded. I wasnt really blown away by it,
    but its an interesting game.

I usually play Xbox360 since I know a few people on there.

Ugg, game is ____, but I love the live action promo commercials. Only good news about this is now PlayStation gamers now have a Halo to mess around with, but it's just Halo with random people jumping into your single player game, streamlined multiplayer matchups, and long as heck loading screens.

I'll play with you once it's out on PC and the price drops below $30. (April?) Of course assuming Sony isn't chicken and opens their servers to cross platform play.

    (doubtful)

Same here, I usually hate the "shoot everything, get shot every 10 seconds"-games that seems to have filled the fps-genre the last few years. This game, however, has me really hooked.

Yep, I have it, and I'm playing on PS4. Unfortunately, I'm also in Europe, so I'm guessing the timezones makes it hard to get into the same game.

If you're interested anyway, feel free to add me on PSN. My PSN Name is "DozerN". Currently Level 9 Hunter in Destiny.

    Best,

My first online multiplayer FPS was DOOM (I suppose it was the first multiplayer FPS), and I remember the cooperative deathmatches we'd have at work. I loved the collaborative side of mFPS.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein was similar, I got hooked on it for a while. I liked the idea of complementary character classes - the lieutenant who could call in air strikes, the engineer who could fix broken weapons and blow walls, the medic who could revive dead player, snipers and basic grunts.

I remember crashing the network because of the broadcast nature of IPX networking. Good times.

I have it for PS4 and it's fantastic. In fact, my usual fireteam is running the Vault of Glass raid tonight for the first time. One of our members has run the raid a few times with some other people and is going to be leading us through it.

Content wise at the moment there's not a lot to do, but the first expansion comes out on 12/9 and that will add quite a bit to the game.

For anyone interested, we did the Vault of Glass raid on Destiny on Tuesday night and it was pretty fun. Bungie needs to make some changes in the form of bugfixes to the Atheon encounter, though. Most of our wipes were on that fight. A lot of it was cleanses not being received by some players who were in range when the ability was triggered, or players not getting teleported back properly when they went through the portal.

We'll be running it again this week, tomorrow. It was a lot of fun outside of the bugs.
