This morning I watched The American Astronaught and Stingray Sam, both written, directed, and starring Cory McAbee. Very low budget, but extremely entertaining films. Both are space westerns, with the latter also being a musical (very tastefully done).

I read up on his bio, and he seems to be every bit an all around entertainer and artist. Watching him in Stingray Sam, he reminds me quite a bit of a keyed-down Steve Martin.
