Apparently, Kim Fatty the Second over in 'Best Korea' (as some 'shitposters'
on the public net call him) has said that unless the US raises sanctions on nuclear material (or something along those lines), that he'd have a 'present' for us come the end of the year.

I know this is the debate MB but I felt this fitting here more than anywhere else on DOVENET.

What do you all think he's going to do?

Way I see it, in order of possibility, is:

1. The Norks either do a show of force and use it as a declaration of
informal annullment of their intent for denuclearization, and we're back to Square One.

2. The Norks try their hand at hitting a local target in the region, probably Seoul or maybe even Tokyo or a major Japanese population center. Odds are
more likely than not, given THAAD and other Interception systems like AEGIS
and Patriot PAC-3 being in the region both in SK and Japan, that it'd
probably end up being intercepted before midphase.

3. The Norks commit a hail mary and try to lob a ICBM at the continental US. Given its' range, it'd probably either hit Hawaii, California, Alaska or Nevada, given they're all states with major US military and civil infrastructure. Again, the ICBM could end up being intercepted.

With the latter two, I feel the Chinese would probably have enough reason to say 'fuck it, regime change time', and turn on the Norks someway. As much as the CCP may be at odds with the US, something like this would give the
chinese enough reason to just say 'fuck it', and put an end to what might as well be Asia's biggest radical factor in the whole shitshow that is their geo-political situation right now. I know if I were Xi "Pooh" Jinping, I'd be frustrated with the fact that a ally decided to just try and bring about the fucking Eschaton on this marble.

Lil Kim is a kid with keys to the gun cabinet. He wants to be the big dog, but know his country needs stuff. He needs to trade, but country is poor and there's a high price to behaving.
So, he does this stuff to get others to concede and play with him.
I see him doing something to Japan, before the US.

the main factor in that situation is china. if china pulled the plug on everything they provide to n korea, it would be done in 3 weeks.

half of all chinese foreign aid goes to n korea.
they are also big trade partners.
