Unconstitutional Virtual Signaling Needs to Be Defeated

I can understand why Democrats want to see President Trumpÿs tax returns.
Many of them believe that he earned his money through dubious means or have
the dubious claims of being a Russian puppet validated though them.

Democratic Party dominated states across the nation are passing laws
demanding that presidential candidates show their last few years of tax
returns to get on the ballot, but the practice of showing oneÿs tax returns
has been a voluntary affair for candidates for major offices such as US
Senate, Governor and President of the nation. In California SB 27 passed
with a 27-10 margin in the State Senate, but it is heading to the State Assembly.

The message I stated to my local legislators was that our state legislature does not have jurisdiction dealing with federal elected offices. It is up
to our US Senators and our local congress members to work to change the
policy instead of our state legislators trying to dress up as federal legislators. This bill is largely designed to make the left ÿprogressiveÿ leaning base excited that the state legislators are trying to do something,
but legislators such as Senator Leyva will get spanked by the US Supreme
Court for not understanding the constitution and federal supremacy. There
was a case in 1995 that also led to the rejection of state mandates on
federal campaign eligibility in U.S. Term Limits Inc. v. Thornton, 514 U.S.
    779 (1995).

ÿAllowing individual states to adopt their own qualifications for
congressional service would be inconsistent with the Framersÿ vision of a uniform national legislature representing the people of the United States.ÿ
ÿIf the qualifications set forth in the text of the Constitution are to be changed, that text must be amended.ÿ

This precedence will likely lead towards higher courts to nuke these requirements in laws being passed in other states. The lane Democrats would need to follow is through the federal legislature if they want their change
to happen in 2021 or 2025 depending if Trump gets re-elected.

It is highly unlikely Trump will win in California even if he advocated for open borders or transgender open service in the military, some are thinking that there is a conspiracy to disenfranchise Republican voters so our state could be just as Democratic Party dominated like Hawaii.

People still have a chance to let their State Assembly members know they do
not want this bill passed. Personally, I could care less if my candidate is Trump or Larry Hogan of Maryland, but it is not likely the California state legislature will get their way. We need to save taxpayer money by having
this bill killed in the legislature. Our state is trying to cut the budget
for eyeglasses for needy adults, and we are blowing money for this virtue signaling, shame on our Democrats.
