When I was growing up the News media outlets were held to a certain standard of reporting the news, i.e. they had to have and name sources for their stories, they had to double check facts for accuracy before going to print or broadcast.
These days they take a story and twist the facts to fit an agenda and apparently they cannot be sued for false untrue unvetted stories.
I see this type of bad behavior on CNN and FOX and local media.
they are almost as bad as tabloid news like the SUN, Daily Mirror, Star, Enquirer, Globe etc...
It's really sad that noone can just be truthful.

If I concentrate and make a point of noticing which statements are about THE WORLD, and which statements are just about other people's statements, I think that helps.
