The Justice Department is preparing to bring a lawsuit against Ferguson, Missouri, police over a pattern of racially discriminatory tactics used by officers, if the department does not agree to make changes, sources tell CNN's Evan Perez.

So, like, they really should be doing that even if the goddamned police _don't_ agree to change. That's only one step above a wink and a nod. :| There's just no way to ensure that an agency of the military or law enforcement will change if you don't threaten to use teeth. :P How the hell are they going to combat the racial inequality of the representation of black americans in their ranks, for instance? Look at the population/demographics breakdown of the PD there compared to that of the community. Utterly ridiculous. :|
