The number of Ebola cases in Liberia and Sierra Leone could rise to between 550,000 and 1.4 million[1] by January if there are no "additional interventions or changes in community behavior," the CDC says.

There had been reports of it climbing at a geometric rate, from all US sources, for quite some time now. I thought that was kind of funny, because when you'd start browsing African, and other continents' media, they all stated that the rate of infection was an exponential function.
So I guess this pretty much points to the fact that the US can't cover up their lie any more, and they're counting on the typical American ignorance and lack of education to point to the fact that the numbers don't (and never did) match the claims.
