Comments are welcome.
The cymbal sounds from that drum machine (or sampler?) aren't so hot. either turn way down in the mix, remove them, or use a different cymba (or drum machine). :-)
Everything else is pretty cool. :-)
Thanks!
I'm not really happy with the drums either, but I didn't have much in
the way of a library to choose from. Drums are one of the hardest things for ME to come up with. I'm more inclined to create melodies I suppose.
Maybe a drum machine with real pads would help me out a bit... give me something to bang on. My studio is too small for a real drum kit.
Pads won't effect the *sound* any.
Well, they do in that they give me an easy way to vary the velocity of the midi note, for a bit of variety... giving it a "more realistic" sound.
Also with my abysmal timing, there would probably be a bit more "realism"
than I would want. :-)
You need a better sound/sample source for
that. And "drum machines" don't typically involve any kind of pad (that you with sticks).
Hmm.. I recall one, a very long time ago, that had four pads on the top
that you could whack with a stick!
Of course, all this only applies to midi drums, as the audio sample loops
are not really editable.
