out of all y programs i still have yet to find out how to take the hissing o of a track do any of you know how to do this i ahve alot of software so i probertly have hwat you are using
Hiss in recordings is the extreme upper and lower parts of the wave form, almost out of actual hearing range. The only way to get rid of the hiss is to chop the extreme top and bottom of the wave. The only problem with doing this, believe it or not, you will lose alot of the quality of the song. Another way to do it, is to lower the volume of the wave, not the sound card volume, but the actual volume of the audio file. This won't get rid of the hiss, but will reduce it enough so that it won't be so bothersome. You could also try reducing the peak levels of the audio file, but again, you will prolly lose quality.
