I've done some recording myself, although, this was a few years ago and

I have a small CD duplication business... also do editing and remastering when needed. Haven't done any live recording in years, but I'm also a DJ and often record "live" mixes, and of course "rip" vinyl to make CDs and/or MP3s (for convenience, of course... vinyl records are still THE medium for mixing).

I have a small home studio set up here... mostly DJ gear, but also some drum machines, samplers, and synths.

Checked it out... cool... I'm not much of an Acoustic player myself.
I've carried a Les Paul for as long as I can remember. I've pretty much
packed up my gear though. 30 some years of jammin with whomever has
taken its toll and I just don't even feel like haulin' out the ax's even

of the new music that I even like. Ah well.

Well, I more of a part time Studio Engineer these days and full time developer :)

It sucks, but with the trend of cheaper, smaller, and better sounding equipment/studios these days I found it too hard to make the money I used to as an Engineer. So, I decided to pursue a career in programming full time and work sessions in when I can.

Most of those pics came from a few years ago, or in small coffee house by us. He used to use a roland pro v? I think that;s what they are called, the electronic kind. But he needed the money and sold them and bought a cheaper pacific set. They don't sound that bad, but I miss the roland alot!

Not the one in the coffee house :). That's the craziest they will let us get away with there. The Yamaha set is crap, but he makes that sound okay sometimes too. I don't think there's a pic on the site with his old roland kit.
