If you have played drums and needed to record them what kind of mics would you use?

When I was in the studio we used:

    Kick: AKG 414EB
    Hat: Sennheiser MD421 or 441
    Snare: Shure SM57 or 58
    Toms: Neumann U87 or 89
    Ride: Sennheiser MD421 or 441
    Crash: Sennheiser MD421 or 441

We also used the thin short black clip-ons for less interference with the drummer.
We also used XLR cables to connect the mics as well.

I use cables with cannon connectors.
