the one posted right before your post above? on my 226x70 ssh console connection it was garbled because of the smart wrapping... when i CTRL-Z to switch to raw mod, it looked fine... on my regular terminals, 80x24, the ones i've actually looked at have been fine...

I mean, for me, in DDMsgReader, it does. But DDMsgReader is special in this case because of its specific use of frame.js and scrollbar.js.

I've considered refactoring DDMsgReader's code a bit. For a long time, I didn't know frame.js and scrollbar.js existed, so it uses its own viewing and scrolling most of the time. ANSI seems to be tricky to parse & render properly though. In some cases (for simple ANSI), DDMsgReader just translates the ANSI color codes to Synchronet attribute codes and uses its own display & scrolling. But if there's over a certain percentage of ANSI in a message, it will use frame.js and scrollbar.js, since frame.js seems to do a better job of rendering ANSI.

I've thought about just having it use frame.js and scrollbar.js all the time, to simplify the code.. That's what I did with SlyVote (I wanted to use other libraries as much as possible to minimize re-inventing the wheel). Refactoring DDMsgReader for that would be a bit of work, with minimal/no functional change for the user though..
