Just wanted to post that you can get YOUR.bbs.io domain name with dyndns...

http://www.bbs.io/ and click the link to the freedns service.

Also, please don't make "bbs" part of your dns entry... YOUR.bbs.io not YOURBBS.bbs.io, it just looks silly. Wish I'd been able to get that up far earlier than I did (4-5 years ago now)... I think it's better than most other dyndns options. YMMV.

I have added my CNAME so now my bbs is also available @ cyberspace.bbs.io which is a neat hostname :)

I didn't implement any DYNDNS service from synchro.net rather just used another dyndns provided by vert as a CNAME value for my subdomain.
