The Pit occasionally likes to fuck up its player.dat file, which suddenly appears to be 4GB in size and prevents the game from working.

I've deleted the player.dat file and copied over a new one from a clean install. Presumably all player data has been lost. :(

On the bright side, those two people who play The Pit can now enjoy a clean slate!
