Can never seem to get WebV4 to NOT ballon out of control. When I first startup the Web Process in SBBSCTRL everything seems to be running OK, but then after a few minutes, if I check out the process anaylzer the memory usage spikes to 1+ Gigs of RAM until the system kicks out a RichEdit error and the whole system freezes until I can force quit the process.

Any ideas? I checked the modopts settings to what you have in your readme, and added the max messages parameter. Set it as low as 50 and still have the issue.

Running in WinXP SP3 as a GuestOS under Virtalbox v5

As I type this from the web the error has not returned (yet), but murphys law states that as soon as I send this it'll start again.

Mainly just wanted to try this from the web because it's such a cool design. Already changed the Font, planning to to try my hand at re-skinning with a unique bootcamp theme. Can't wait.

The web v4 scripts don't do anything when you start your webserver. They are only executed when a relevant request comes in. Are you seeing a huge amount of traffic to your server? Google or something else crawling/indexing your site?

    What is a RichEdit error?

I haven't had this happen to me, so no ideas off the top of my head. Can't reproduce it here, so that makes things more difficult.

Web server logs from the period leading up to the crash might help to identify where the problem is coming from. (Would highlight a particular page being loaded, or a particular message group / sub being browsed, or something like that.) Feel free to email a log file to my username at bbs.electronicchicken.com, as it may be excessive to post here.
