• Recycle Error

Just wondering, I came home the other day, and my services window was full of red where COA was trying to connect with the host. A tree had hit the cable line, and the net was down. I was sondering if there was something that could be done, where if there is no connection for a given period of time, It would fall back and only look for a connecting say every 15 minutes. I don't know if this is even possable, but I just shut down services to keep it from happening till the net was restored. Is this a common problem, or just me crying over somethin I should just not worry about:)

I think that if it gets disconnected, the service attempts to reconnect every 10 seconds or so, which may be excessive. It doesn't hurt anything except for polluting the logs, however.

We could scale it back somewhat, likely without causing any real problems. We'll look into it for the next update, which I think will be coming soon-ish.

What's the name of the log file for this, and I'll just add a delete function to my weekly batch file to delete it if it over a certian size.

If you're on Windows, it's probably going into data\error.log (seems to be the case on our gaming server. I'm not 100% certain on that, since the way the logs are "organized" by Synchronet under Windows seems to be a bit of a mess.)

Thanks, I was wondering where (and if) that got logged. I kept looking for a "Services" log file of some sort.
