I think that if it gets disconnected, the service attempts to reconnect every 10 seconds or so, which may be excessive. It doesn't hurt anything except for polluting the logs, however.
We could scale it back somewhat, likely without causing any real problems.
We'll look into it for the next update, which I think will be coming soon-ish.
What's the name of the log file for this, and I'll just add a delete function to my weekly batch file to delete it if it over a certian size.

If you're on Windows, it's probably going into data\error.log (seems to be the case on our gaming server. I'm not 100% certain on that, since the way the logs are "organized" by Synchronet under Windows seems to be a bit of a mess.)
